C.E.O Summit'18 Held at UPSA was a blast



On 13th September,2018 a program titled the CEO SUMMIT was hosted by BENJAMIN EKOW MENSAH at the LBC auditorium.


The first speaker by name SELASSIE DKIKUNU, co-founder of JAYSET . She studied Agricultural Engineering but now she is in the accounting field, why because she found a problem that she thinks she can solve.
She spoke about entrepreneurship and how to save towards your business. She mentioned that we should take our internships very seriously, get more experience before you start a business. She stated that we need to get our hands dirty meaning we need to involve ourselves in our business rather than giving orders.
MRS DKIKUNU concluded by saying that jump whilst your eyes are closed because if you open your eyes you will fall.


The second speaker by name KAFUI WISDOM HONU, co-founder of IDEA AFRICA. He spoke about how to be a good entrepreneur. He gave a golden key/rule which is PASSION + VALUE = MONEY. He explained that passion alone is not enough but putting value on your business and yourself is very keen. He emphasized that we should set our minds right, invest in yourselves, surround ourselves with a great team and especially learn new skills whilst in school.
He concluded by saying that it is better to stand with someone who has a better idea and succeed than to stand alone and fail.


The last speaker is in the name of MR EKOW MENSAH, an entrepreneur and a consultant. He spoke about entrepreneurship. He explains entrepreneurship is having fun with ideas. Fun is anything you do which brings you ideas.
He added by saying that if you are a business minded person you need to check your time because TIME + SKILLS = MONEY which is an excellent rule.
He concluded by saying that we shouldn't listen to voices around because they will end up discouraging you and also we should be responsible for the decisions we make.

ITEA Finally Launched Officially

Showbiz Network Ghana Limited, the organizers of Inter Tertiary Excellence Awards (ITEA) have held a press launch for the maiden edition of the tertiary honors.The launch happened at the premises of SBN’s Sakumono Office. According to Mr. Afunya Kofi Daniel, the Events Manager of SBN who was speaking at the event, the launch also marks the beginning of nominations.
